I asked them to use it as their main PDF editor for a couple weeks and even developed draft versions of training guides for their work flow.īut, I quickly ran into a huge workflow compatibility issue. I had a few people test Nitro from different departments. I thought I could deploy Nitro company-wide when our Adobe Acrobat needed an upgrade (due to support being dropped for older version). We liked Nitro PDF Pro and had two people using the full version every day, although most were still using Adobe Acrobat. They were easy to work with directly, it wasn't a problem. I wound up emailing sales to upscale my 100 pack license to 250 - that was too complicated to do through the channel. ![]() I bought 20 and 50 pack licenses through distribution, can't remember if it was before Insight bought PCM or not (I was a PCM customer). You dont by chance have a pdf Xchange rep contact info you use do you? Also, Tracker provides GPO policy objects, which is a whole different level than many competitors were prepared to compete at. So, their engine is good enough other companies license it!įoxit Phantom and the drafters never got along, and similar issues arose with other products. PDFXchange actually turned out to be the core engine of CADZation, which the drafters REALLY liked. ![]() My CAD Manager did a great job vetting the product for compatibility and capability. The savings would be irrelevant if there was missing functionality. The cost savings is massive compared to Acrobat Pro.Įdit to clarify: It's the whole enchilada package of Pro and OCR-plus and all that. We scaled up after evaluations of several competing products. I have 250 seats with three years maintenance and support.
